ANNOUNCING OUR DIAMOND SPONSOR

The International Academic Forum

Nagoya University Model United Nations is proud to present The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) as our Diamond Sponsor. This partnership showcases both organisations’ commitment to fostering academic growth and developing future policy-making and international relations leaders.

By aligning with NUMUN and Nagoya University, IAFOR aims to support the cultivation of young scholars and professionals poised to make impactful contributions to global dialogues. Together, we look forward to nurturing the next generation of academics and policymakers in shaping a brighter global future.

About IAFOR

The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) was founded in Nagoya, Japan, in 2009 as a research organisation, conference organiser, and academic publisher. IAFOR’s interdisciplinary conferences are held worldwide, serving as diverse and inclusive network hubs where academics gather to generate, share, and nurture new knowledge and ideas.

About the IAFOR Undergraduate Research Symposium (IURS)

IAFOR is launching the IAFOR Undergraduate Research Symposium (IURS) across major cities around the world in 2024. IURS is an international symposium with academic capacity-building programmes tailored specifically for undergraduate students to acquire and develop presentation skills, and subsequently present high-level conference presentations onsite at an international IAFOR conference. The IURS2024 series will be held in London, Incheon, and Tokyo in conjunction with IAFOR’s education conferences.

Through a two-day programme, experienced facilitators will train students how to formulate their thoughts, communicate their ideas, and deliver effective Poster Presentations through an online workshop. These skills will be demonstrated onsite to their peers and academics alike during the affiliated IAFOR conference.

In an effort to enhance academic accessibility for exceptional young researchers, the Forum has committed to subsidising the registration fee to participate in the Symposium to a flat 5000 JPY fee for IURS2024 in Tokyo. Students will be selected for the Symposium on the basis of their presentation proposals. Submissions from all fields of study are welcome.
